This is a ride that starts in St Helens and makes it's way up to the popular motorbike meeting point on Southport's Lower Promenade. The ride starts with some faster roads in the Rainford Bypass, gradually the speeds get slower, and the views get better as speed is substituted for long winding bends along country roads.
Quite a few bikers usually meet at the Tesco garage where the A580 and the A570 meet on Wednesdays around 7:30pm for the ride up to Southport Promenade.
